Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Ultra could be exciting, but it may not launch this year

Samsung has already teased the Z Fold Ultra, and we speculated that it could be positioned above the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Looking at the brand’s Ultra product offerings, it is speculated that the device will be top of the line and may include the much-anticipated changes that we are looking for in flagships, such as a slimmer body, durable hinge, nearly creaseless display, large battery, AI overhaul, and improved camera. However, it appears that the company may take a little longer to get these items on retail shelves.

According to Max Jambor, a reliable tipster, Samsung may not be bringing the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra this year. He further mentioned that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will offer the Ultra like experience. This came after the brand shared a teaser hinting at a book style foldable phone with confirmed AI features.

Samsung is already preparing to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 next month. While we don’t know much about it, rumours suggest that the company plans to hold its Galaxy Unpacked event in New York on July 10. The leaks also indicate that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 could be powered by the Exynos chipset, while the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.

Samsung is also rumoured to replace the Galaxy Z Fold 7′s 50MP primary camera with a 200MP sensor. The device is also said to be slimmer and lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7, on the other hand, is expected to receive significant display improvements, such as a new 4-inch cover screen and a large 6.8-inch AMOLED panel.

While all of these are leaks and rumours, we’ll know what’s launching and what isn’t in a few weeks’ time. Until then, stay tuned to Digit for all the latest technology news.
