Samsung Galaxy is reportedly working on the next iteration of its foldables, which is expected to debut at the next Galaxy Unpacked event. Following the previous years’ trend, the tech giant may unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7 alongside Galaxy Z Flip 7 and a new trifold, possibly called the Samsung G Fold. While the smartphones are still a couple of months away from their debut, the rumours and leaks have suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may get several upgrades over its predecessor.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 specifications (expected)
A reliable tipster, IceUniverse, recently leaked the dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The smartphone may measure 158.4 mm x 143.1 mm x 3.9 mm, hinting at a thinner and wider body frame compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The latter has a dimension of 153.5 mm x 132.6 mm x 5.6 mm. This also suggests that the phone may debut as the world’s thinnest foldable, outsizing the Oppo Find N5, which has a thickness of 4.21mm.
Additionally, the phone has also been tipped to get an 8.2-inch AMOLED display when unfolded and a 6.5-inch AMOLED cover display. Under the hood, the foldable is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the handset is expected to pack a 4,400mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may also ship with a camera upgrade with a 200MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens.

Samsung is yet to share any details on the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7, however, rumours suggest that the phone could be priced at around Rs 1,64,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant in India. To recall, Galaxy Z Fold 6 was launched at a price of Rs 1,49,999 for the base variant.
