Motorola is reportedly gearing up to launch a new smartphone, the G86 5G, in the global market, including India. The purported smartphone is expected to succeed last year’s Moto G85 5G and offer some key upgrades. While there are no official details about the device, rumours and speculations have tipped some key specifications, including processor, camera, display, and more. The smartphone is tipped to get a pOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity processor, and a larger battery over its predecessor.

Tipster Evan Blass has shared a detailed Moto G86 5G specification sheet, hinting at an imminent launch. The smartphone may debut soon alongside the Moto G56 5G in India. However, the company is yet to confirm the launch.

According to the leaked details, the upcoming Moto G86 5G could feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K curved pOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness. The device may also get a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to pack MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The handset is likely to run on Android 15.
For optics, the Moto G86 5G is tipped to ship with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary shooter with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide sensor on the back, and a 32MP selfie camera on the front.
Other leaked specifications include a 5200 mAh or 6720 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It is also likely to get military grade MIL-STD 810H certification along with an IP68 rating.

Motorola G86 5G will reportedly debut with a price tag of around 330 Euros ( approx USD 374 / Rs. 31,680) for the 8GB + 256GB model. However, in India, it will likely be cheaper at around Rs. 20,000 for the base model, the reports added.
